About The Doctor

Dr. Karpelman opened his practice in September of 1979 and has remained in the heart of Cheshire since. He has always lead his practice with standing behind Foot Care For The Entire Family, With A Gentle, Experienced Touch.

Dr. Karpelman graduated from the University of Connecticut class of 1973 with a Bachelors of Arts. He then went on to study Podiatric Medicine at Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, now affiliated with Temple University, earning his doctorate in 1978. After graduating with his doctorate, he then completed a one year post graduate program with Dr. Jeffrey Yale in Ansonia, Connecticut until opening his own practice in Cheshire.

Dr. Karpelman is a native of Connecticut. Recreationally, he enjoys close up magic, pocket billiards, chess and cooking.

Dr. Karpelman is a member of the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine, and is a Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
